  • Barspoon of Orgeat
  • 0.5 butterfly pea flower simple syrup (2:1)
  • 1 Oz Upstate Vodka
  • 0.25 Oz lemon juice
  • 0.25 Honey syrup (3:1)
  • 0.5 St. Germain elderflower liquor


Using boiling water, create a 2:1 simple syrup with 8 oz of boiling water to 16 oz sugar. Once off the heat, steep the hot 2:1 simple syrup with 12-15 dried butterfly pea flowers for 20 minutes. Strain the flowers and let syrup cool before use.
Shake the orgeat, butterfly pea flower simple syrup, and Upstate Vodka for 10 seconds & double strain into Collins glass with ice, add a splash of soda leaving 1 inch from the rim of glass creating room for the contents in the shot glass.
In a separate shot glass, add the lemon juice, honey syrup, and elderflower liquor. Pour the shot into the Collins glass after serving, stir and enjoy the color changing show.
